The City of Tallapoosa is currently accepting applications for an administrative office clerk position.  Performs basic clerical duties, including responding to public inquiries, data entry, cash handling (A/P and A/R), property tax preparation, and records management.  Provides customer service for city utilities, including managing billing accounts and payments. The position involves regular contact with the public in situations that require considerable tact and diplomacy.  High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a similar role and bachelor’s or associate degree desirable.
