JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - WATER DISTRIBUTION/SEWER COLLECTION FOREMAN

The City of McDonough is accepting applications for the position of Water Distribution/Sewer Collection Foreman.  This position technical work requiring the application of acquired knowledge and skills.  Work involves overseeing the work crews, inspecting the water distribution/sewer collection system, installing meters, and responding to water distribution/sewer collection related emergencies. Work is completed under the direct supervision of the Water Distribution Manager. 

Minimum qualifications:  High School diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of related experience; possession of a Water Distribution Operator and Sewer Collection Licenses required; possess a valid State of Georgia driver’s license (Class C) and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and criminal history; pass employment physical and drug test; any combination of education or experience is acceptable.
