JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - Stormwater Manager

The City of McDonough is accepting applications for the position of Stormwater Manager.  This position is responsible for providing support in the implementation and management of the City’s Stormwater Management Program. Also responsible for providing support for street, water, and waste water improvements for the City.

Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field from an accredited college or university or Engineering degree preferred; sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, Georgia Driver’s License (Class C) or obtain within one month of hire; Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission certification or ability to obtain certification within one year; acceptable MVR; pass pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen; satisfactory criminal history; equivalent combination of education and experience.
