Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing basic services to County aircrafts, such as marshaling, towing, fueling, replenishing ice, water, and papers.
Major Duties:
- Marshaling aircraft through arrivals and departures, moving aircraft
- Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
- Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles, and equipment.
- Transporting clients.
- Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members.
- Assist with customer service duties as needed.
- Ensure hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly.
- Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work with a variety of equipment and vehicles.
- Must have a valid driver's license and approved driving record.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 100 pounds rarely.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, prior aviation experience preferred.
- Prior experience with NATA's Professional Line Service Training is preferred.
The successful candidate must complete a Background/Reference Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screening prior to the start of employment.
