Classification and Compensation Study and Analysis
Sumter County will be accepting qualifications until 4:00 p.m. on March 24, 2023 for classification and compensation study and analysis. Specifications are on file at the Sumter County Board of Commissioners office located at 500 W. Lamar Street, Americus, Georgia 31709. Each qualification envelope must be plainly marked on the outside as "Request for Qualifications for Classification and Compensation Study and Analysis". It should include the requestors' name, address, and E-Verify affidavit.

All qualifications will be reviewed for practicality. Sumter County reserves the right to accept or reject any, and all qualifications.

No qualification may be withdrawn for a period of 35 days after the time has been called on the date of opening.

The successful qualifier shall begin actual physical work no later than May 1, 2023. A successful qualifier will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond of 100% of the project cost. Successful qualifiers must also provide a certificate of insurance for statutory workmen's compensation, employer's liability insurance, and comprehensive automobile liability insurance.
