Marketing & Communications Manager

Bent Tree is a vibrant private gated community located in the North Georgia mountains of Pickens County.  The full-service community offers an 18-hole championship golf course; Lake Tamarack featuring kayaking, fishing, and beach; a tennis/pickleball center, The Tavern and Club Tamarack restaurants; outdoor aquatics; and an equestrian center. 

We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team.  This is a newly created position that reports to the Director of Administration & Finance.  The position will work in conjunction with the Communications Committee to vastly enhance the internal and external marketing efforts of Bent Tree.  Internal marketing efforts will focus on continuing to build the new website as the key component of member services and information as well as print communications, email blasts, social media, and creative new communication endeavors.  External marketing will consist of innovative approaches to market the Bent Tree community on a local and national level in terms of attracting residents to our community to live.  This position will work very closely with Golf, Tennis/Pickleball, Equestrian and Food Services leadership to create marketing plans intended to increase membership, participation and generate revenue.

Other key duties of the position will include brand management, needs assessment feedback, corporate advertising ventures, coordination of programs to educate the community about our services, and technological support for Board of Directors and Committee meetings.
