Whitfield County Chief Tax Appraiser
Job Description: The Whitfield County Chief Appraiser will be responsible for all aspects of the Whitfield County Tax Assessors Office as required under the provisions of O.C.G.A., Title 48, Chapter 5, Department of Revenue Rules and Regulations; the Appraisal Procedures Manual; and the Candler County Board of Assessor’s Policies.
Successful candidates must possess and maintain the following:
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates should have experience in real property appraisal, real property transactions, taxation or local government.
Certification Requirement:
Appraiser IV Certification from the State of Georgia is preferred for this position.
An applicant with an Appraiser III Certification may be considered if they demonstrate skills and experience required for the position and the ability to obtain the required certification within 12 months of employment.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary commensurate with experience).
